Biography

Rich is the head of Philips Health Technology Ventures group, Philips dedicated venture investment arm, which he launched in 2016. Prior to joining Philips and launching the ventures program, Rich was part of Partners HealthCare’s in-house venture fund, Partners Innovation Fund, where he was responsible for the creation, launching and funding of new ventures generated from Partners innovative research discoveries. He also spent time in the investment banking industry, working for both Bank of America as well as Deutsche Bank Securities. Rich holds a degree from Harvard University in engineering sciences and is an adjunct professor at Tufts University where he teaches a course on Entrepreneurial Finance.
