Biography

Founding Chairman of the Digital Healthcare Innovation Summit

Brandon Hull was the founding Chairman of the DHIS, and chaired the program for its first two years. Brandon’s career in healthcare VC & PE spans three decades. As a VP/Principal of the Edison Venture fund, his portfolio included pioneering players of the nineties in physician/provider risk, specialty managed care, and provider/payer software. After co-founding Cardinal Partners in 1996, he was a lead investor in bellwether companies such as VISICU, Athenahealth, Coderyte and QPID. He also led/co-led Cardinal’s investments in Vitals, Ivenix, Cureatr, and Teladoc. Brandon departed Cardinal in 2017 and now serves on the Executive Advisory Council of New Mountain Capital, specializing in technology-enabled services.

He currently serves as a director of AthenaHealth, Equian, Brighton/Privia, and select NMC portfolio boards. Brandon received his BA from Wheaton College (IL) and his MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
