Michael Weintraub

Michael is Co-Founder and CEO of Humedica, acquired by UnitedHealth Group (UHG) in 2013. Michael has broadened his role within UHG as CEO of Optum Analytics.

Prior to launching Humedica, Michael served as Senior Managing Director at Leerink Partners, a leading health care investment bank. Previously, he was President and CEO of PHARMetrics, a health care informatics company, which was successfully sold to IMS Health in 2005. He serves as Founding Chairman of the Board of Phreesia, a software company that develops automated patient check-in tools. Michael is a Board member of the Innovation and Digital Health Accelerator for Boston Children’s Hospital. He serves as a mentor and speaker at the Harvard Innovation Lab (iLab), a unique collaboration and education space designed to foster entrepreneurship and innovation across Harvard. Michael received his MBA from Harvard Business School and his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Brandeis University.
