Biography

Luba brings to Google pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and digital health industry expertise in building innovative technology companies and providing strategic counsel to global corporations. Luba has served as Vice President of Global Business Development and Mergers & Acquisitions at Roche, where she also established and led the Innovation Hub for Diagnostics Division. Luba is on the Board of MassBio and IRX Therapeutics, and serves as Advisor to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, as part of Business Development Council. She also lectures at Boston University Law School and School of Management.

Luba’s career has spanned leadership roles in venture, BD, company and product building, and law, previously serving as Venture Partner at Colt Ventures, leading BD and Strategy for a Flagship Ventures company, and serving as Senior Mergers & Acquisitions Counsel at Pfizer. Luba began her career practicing law at leading national law firm, WilmerHale.

She is a recipient of awards for her work in the community, including Science Club for Girls Award and served as board member of Longwood Symphony Orchestra and executive coach for Massachusetts LifeSciences Center.
